Montana Academy of Salons requires all prospective students to have a valid high school diploma. High school document such as an official transcript documenting graduation, Hi-Set (GED) certificate, homeschool certificate including state-issued credential, or college transcripts demonstrating completion of at least a two-year program that is acceptable for full credit toward a bachelor’s degree are also accepted.
Out-of-state applicants must meet the same requirements as in-state applicants when applying for programs in Barbering, Supplemental Barbering, Cosmetology, Esthetics, Manicuring, Massage Therapy, Microdermabrasion, and Teacher Training.

If you plan on using financial aid, be sure to complete the FAFSA. After meeting with your admissions representative and submitting all required documents, you will receive either an acceptance or denial letter.
During registration, the following are needed:

Signed enrollment agreement
Personal Identification

During registration, the following are needed:

To complete your registration and sign an enrollment contract, you must submit the following documents:

Teacher Training Program: Provide a copy of your current Montana practitioner license.
Supplemental Barbering Program: You must be a recent graduate of the Cosmetology program or provide a copy of your current Montana Cosmetology license.
Microdermabrasion Course: You must be a recent graduate of Montana Academy’s Cosmetology or Esthetics programs or provide a copy of your current Montana Cosmetology or Esthetics license.
